As the Senior Brand Copywriter you will play a pivotal role in shaping and strengthening our global brands through exceptional and compelling copywriting that engages, educates, and builds trust.
You will lead the brand narratives and messaging strategies across our global brands, building the right frameworks and approaches to help evolve our brands and achieve business goals.
Collaborating with key stakeholders, you will lead the copy for our brand content, from creating campaigns and video scripts to product narratives and technical insight documents, showing a deep understanding of audience, channel, product and brand positioning.
You will influence and mentor those around you to make considered decisions for our brands and business, fostering a culture of strategic thinking and creativity.

Reporting to the Chief Designer – Brand & Content, you will:

  • Take ownership of all copy elements across our global brands.
  • Use your deep understanding of brand architecture to develop effective messaging frameworks that drive brand consistency.
  • Create writing systems, toolkits and guidelines to systemise copy creation across the business.
  • Ideate and deliver compelling, effective copy for a wide range of outputs such as campaigns, video scripts and marketing banners.
  • Translate technical concepts into understandable content for different brands and consumers.
  • Create and/or adapt global content in line with brand guidelines and standards.
  • Mentor and influence other copywriters to foster growth and increase their skills and capability.
  • Works collaboratively with a diverse group of stakeholders to create and manage cross-organisational integrated strategies.

What we are looking for

  • The role requires a relevant tertiary qualification in English or related field, with proven experience creating, sourcing and editing copy.
  • Demonstrated proficiency in end-to-end creative processes across in-house and agency environments.
  • Adaptable to working within briefs and constraints, prioritising for business success.
  • Comprehensive understanding of various channels and formats for cohesive messaging.
  • Experience with stakeholder and project management that has shown to be effective.
  • Experience working with multiple subject matter experts and organisational perspectives.
  • A portfolio that showcases a range of work, from high-level campaign messaging to transactional landing pages, social copy to digital ads.
  • Experience managing copywriters.
  • A passion for and curiosity about people, great appliances, tools and ways of working.
