ARC Business Solutions Inc. is currently seeking individuals with experience as a Senior Business Analyst, with strong communication, leadership and requirements gathering skills.
ROLE: Senior Business Analyst

MANDATORY REQUIREMENTS:

Demonstrated experience in:

  • Requirement Elicitation: Collaborate with stakeholders from various departments to gather, document, and analyze business requirements using techniques such as interviews, workshops, and document analysis.
  • Business Process Analysis: Evaluate existing business processes, workflows, and systems to identify areas for improvement or optimization. Develop and document detailed business process models, including current state and future state workflows.
  • Data Analysis: Analyze large datasets to extract meaningful insights and trends that can inform business decisions. Utilize tools such as SQL, Excel, or business intelligence software to manipulate and analyze data effectively.
  • Documentation: Create clear and concise documentation, including business requirement documents, functional specifications, use cases, and user stories, to communicate requirements to development teams and stakeholders.
  • Solution Design: Collaborate with technical teams to translate business requirements into technical specifications and design solutions that meet business needs. Ensure alignment between business objectives and technical solutions.
  • Stakeholder Management: Act as a liaison between business stakeholders and technical teams, facilitating communication, managing expectations, and ensuring alignment throughout the project lifecycle.
  • Testing and Quality Assurance: Work with the QA team to develop test plans, test cases, and acceptance criteria to validate that delivered solutions meet business requirements. Coordinate user acceptance testing (UAT) and address any issues or defects identified during testing.
  • Change Management: Work with the Project Manager to assess the impact of proposed changes on business processes, systems, and stakeholders. Develop change management plans and communication strategies to minimize resistance and facilitate smooth transitions.
  • Continuous Improvement: Stay informed about industry trends, best practices, and emerging technologies related to business analysis and process improvement. Identify opportunities for continuous improvement and innovation within the organization.

Desirable Requirements:

  • Experience in medical and pharmaceutical industries.
  • Working on large scale computer systems modernization initiatives
  • Comfortable with working in a hybrid model (remote and on-site)

Qualifications:

  • Education: Bachelor’s degree or College diploma in Business Administration, Computer Science, Information Systems, or related field. Advanced degrees or certifications (e.g., CBAP, CCBA) may be preferred.
  • Experience: 7 – 10 years of experience in business analysis or related roles, preferably in a similar industry or domain. Experience with software development lifecycle (SDLC) methodologies (e.g., Agile, Waterfall) is a plus.
  • Analytical Skills: Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to analyze complex data, identify patterns, and develop actionable insights.
  • Communication: Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to effectively communicate with stakeholders at all levels of the organization.
  • Technical Proficiency: Familiarity with business analysis tools and techniques, as well as software applications commonly used in business analysis (e.g., Microsoft Visio, JIRA, Confluence).
  • Collaboration: Ability to work collaboratively in cross-functional teams, build strong relationships with stakeholders, and drive consensus to achieve project goals.
  • Attention to Detail: Strong attention to detail and organizational skills, with the ability to manage multiple tasks and priorities simultaneously.
  • Problem-Solving: Proactive problem-solving mindset, with the ability to identify root causes of issues and develop creative solutions to address them.
  • Adaptability: Ability to adapt to changing priorities, requirements, and project dynamics in a fast-paced, dynamic environment.
  • Business Acumen: Basic understanding of business principles, processes, and operations, with the ability to quickly grasp business concepts and requirements.
