Ready to advance your career?We are looking for a Senior Business Analyst to join our Finance team at Baxter. As a Senior Business Analyst, you will have the chance to partner closely with Business Leaders by providing financial expertise and solutions to achieve commercial business objectives.
In this role you will contribute to the development and assessment of new business strategies across ANZ for the assigned Divisions, while actively participating in projects on Continuous Improvement and Digital Transformation ensuring best practice in an ever-evolving and driven commercial environment.

REQUIREMENTS:

  • Tertiary degree in Finance, Accounting, or a related fields
  • 5 years + experience within the Pharmaceutical or Medical Device industries
  • Solid experience in data warehousing, reporting, analytics tools, and visualisation technologies, such as SQL, Excel, Tableau, Power BI, Cognos and JDE
  • Exceptional analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to determine root causes and develop innovative solutions
  • Strong knowledge of financial modeling, forecasting, and reporting techniques
  • Strong communication and presentation skills are required, with the ability to effectively explain complex financial concepts
  • Motivated and goal-oriented individual, with a track record of working autonomously and achieving outcomes in a dynamic work setting.

Responsibilities:

  • Conduct in-depth analysis of financial data, market trends, and competitor performance to identify opportunities for growth and improvement
  • Collaborate with key individuals to develop and implement strategic plans and initiatives that drive business results
  • Design and implement efficient and effective financial models, forecasts, and reporting tools to support decision-making processes
  • Lead cross-functional teams in the development and execution of complex projects, ensuring flawless execution and timely delivery
  • Provide actionable insights and recommendations to senior leadership based on thorough analysis and interpretation of financial data
  • Stay informed on industry trends, regulatory changes, and effective methods to consistently enhance financial processes and systems
  • Mentor and coach junior analysts, fostering their professional growth and development.
