Senior Business Analyst

• Contract until End of Year - 10 Month Contract + Extns
• Location - Adelaide - Hybrid - 3 Days WFH
• $900 to $1000 P/D

EXPERIENCE REQUIRED:

• 5+ years’ experience in business and systems analysis, requirements analysis, process modelling and design validation.
• Demonstrated experience as a Senior Business Analyst within enterprise project environments.
• Previous experience of working on projects in Content Management Systems (CMS), CX, UI, OpenText/EMC, would be a distinct advantage.
• Formal training in Business Analysis and Business Process Modelling (certification an advantage e.g. CBAP certification through the IIBA).
• Demonstrated knowledge of and experience with best practice business analysis frameworks and processes e.g. the Business Analysis Body of Knowledge (BABOK).
• Knowledge of project management and software development lifecycles and frameworks (e.g. Agile, PMBOK, PRINCE2).
• Demonstrated experience in gathering and understanding customer requirements in context of complex interdependent systems.
• Experience in communicating information effectively and appropriately to senior managers and business stakeholders.
• Experience in using a range of tools and techniques for elicitation and analysis purposes e.g. Process / Data Modelling, UML / Use Cases, Workshop Facilitation, Interviews, Surveys.
• Experience fostering relationships with business stakeholders (management / staff), service providers and external stakeholders (e.g. vendors, regulatory bodies etc.)
• Demonstrated experience recommending improvements to business processes, ensuring business goals are met.
• Excellent written, interpersonal, and oral communication skills.
• Strong influencing and negotiating skills.

• Prepare / update Business Analysis artefacts in line with the delivery methodology and framework, e.g. (not limited to):
• High level requirements.
• Detailed requirements, including Requirements
• Traceability Matrix (RTM).
• Conduct requirements elicitation and process definition
• workshops.
• Preparation of RFP documentation and Vendor Workbook and assist with evaluation of vendor submissions.
• Assess the proposed solution, ensuring full traceability of the solution to the requirements.
• Gap analysis and mapping of current / future processes.
• Business case input / development and business process re-engineering.
• Provide support to the Solutions and Delivery Manager, Project Managers, Change Managers and relevant Applications resources as required e.g. development of Business Case, Project Schedule, Vendor Evaluation, Training activities, Operational Support, and progress updates, as required for the project.
