Responsibilities:
ABOUT THE ROLE
As a Senior Business Analyst, you will be gathering and analysing technical and non-technical business requirements in business processes and systems, through requirements elicitation, solutions identification, risk analysis and collaboration.
You will work with Product Owners and cross functional squads to deliver set sprint outcomes, including elaborating and writing user stories, defining user acceptance test cases, supporting squad delivery and test execution, and creating documentation.
As a senior practitioner, you will provide guidance and leadership to other chapter members in business analysis skill areas.
YOUR CORE RESPONSIBILITIES INCLUDE:
- Work closely with technical and non-technical stakeholders to elicit, analyse, communicate, validate, and manage requirements for changes to systems, business processes and data.
- Analyse and document business/functional processes and requirements using standard analysis methodologies and tools.
- Convert business needs into deliverable squad user stories using knowledge of system capabilities, rules, and architecture.
- Create test plans and user acceptance test cases, and support test execution.
- Identify project delivery issues and risks, assist with mitigation strategies, and escalate where necessary.
- Work closely with stakeholders and change management to identify impacts to business processes because of system or application changes.
- Evaluate effectiveness of crew tools, processes, and methodologies, and make recommendations for continuous improvement.
- Liaise and collaborate with delivery squads and stakeholders as required.
