Description:

The Senior Business Analyst position resides within the Global Procurement Operations department. This position is responsible for assisting in the design, development, and support of the core systems and technologies used by the functions in Global Procurement & Third Party Management (GPTPM) organization. This position is highly technical, currently supporting the Ariba Source to Contract & Supplier Management modules, Icertis Contract Lifecycle Management module, and ProcessUnity Third Party Management and Third Party Risk Management Global Procurement module.
This position will be a direct report to the GPTPM Solutions Director. Responsibilities include the project management of system related enhancement and implementation projects, facilitating working groups and support streams for the system customers, and data and analytics related to the systems. This person will also work with appropriate employees within GPTPM to execute key communications, training and other critical knowledge transfer that has broad impact. They will work in close partnership with our IT, GPTPM leaders, and business matrix stakeholders to ensure that we understand both opportunities to continuously improve our technology and deliver strong information sharing.

Duties & Responsibilities:

  • Run cross-functional project teams to execute enhancement and implementation projects related to key software systems – including requirements gathering, system design, process and system documentation development, training, testing, and customer support.
  • Present key analytics, progress reports, and decision scenarios to multiple levels of leadership
  • Working with GPTPM and matrix partners to design, develop and manage workflows and support tools including SAP Ariba Contracting and Supplier tools.
  • Continuously learn and update knowledge on key software system supported.
  • Monitor, investigate, and collaborate as required to address reported issues with the technological systems (primarily Source to Contract areas of Ariba); Drive issues to resolution.
  • Collaborate with other department teams such as change management and insights and analytics to ensure effective tool adoption, usage, and reporting strategies.
  • Ensure effective communication with key customer stakeholders and internal management.
  • Lead and participate in the review and approval of all critical development, testing, and rollout of key technological initiatives.
  • Perform testing activities; document test scenarios, create test scripts for configuration and process changes.
  • Develops project roadmaps including key milestones, timeline, and contingency plans.
  • Present and speak to large groups or in training environments about technological functionality.

Qualifications:

  • Strong knowledge of upstream Contract, Supplier Management tools. Ariba experience preferred.
  • Strong knowledge of Contract Lifecycle Management module. Icertis experience preferred
  • A proven ability to learn and adapt to new technology and technological solutions.
  • Ability to design technology and process workflows.
  • Ability to work with stakeholders to design and execute reports and date extracts.
  • Background in leading procurement tool implementations
  • Proven problem-solving and analytical skills, including root cause analysis.
  • Strong written and oral skills
  • Bachelor’s Degree required.
  • Competency skills most important for success in this role: Procurement Tool Knowledge, Active Listening, Problem Solving, Interpersonal Savvy, and Perspective.
