We are looking for a Senior Business Analyst to help grow our business and contribute to our future.

The Senior Business Analyst will provide business analysis expertise, experience and skills to the information technology and business organizations at ISC. They will provide planning, requirements elicitation, requirements lifecycle management, strategic plus needs analyst, and solutions evaluation on assigned projects and initiatives. The Senior Business Analyst must have cross-domain, cross-functional, and cross industry experience to provide business analysis services and solutions to ISC. Reporting to Director, IT Solutions, other highlights include:

  • Take a structured approach to performing the business analysis function, utilizing the PMI-PBA Framework and IIBA BABOK Framework.
  • Perform business analysis planning by preparing the business analysis approach, stakeholder engagement, business analysis governance, information management, and business analysis performance improvements.
  • Elicit and collaborate on requirements by preparing for elicitation, conducting elicitation, confirming results, communicating results, and managing stakeholder engagement.
  • Manage the requirements life cycle by creating a requirements traceability, maintain and update requirements, work with the customer to prioritize requirements, assess requirement changes and gain requirement approvals.
  • Perform strategy analysis by working with the business users to analyze current state, define future state, assess risks, and help define the change strategy.
  • Perform requirements analysis and design definition by modeling requirements, defining requirements architecture, working with cross-functional teams to develop design options and analyze the potential value and recommend solutions.
  • Perform solution evaluation by working with cross-functional teams to measure solution performance, analyze performance measures, assess solution limitations, assess enterprise limitations, and recommend actions to increase the solution value.
  • Provide leadership in process improvement using industry leading best practices.

What you’ll need:

  • Ten (10) years of experience in Information Technology or Business Administration.
  • Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Business Administration, or equivalent experience.
  • IIBA CBAP certification would be a strong asset.
  • Exceptional interpersonal, teamwork, facilitation, and negotiation skills.
  • Exceptional critical thinking, analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Exceptional and demonstrated written and verbal communication skills in English are required as this position will be working with end users.
  • Broad IT domain experience in three or more of the following IT areas: Application Development, Enterprise Architecture, Project Management, Quality Assurance, Infrastructure, and Maintenance and Support.
  • Curiosity and the ability to question thought partners across functional areas.
  • In-depth understanding of the SDLC and various software development methodologies (e.g., Agile, Waterfall).
  • Understanding of modeling techniques, such as UML, Data Flow Diagrams, Business Process Modeling, etc.
  • Self-motivated and proactive
  • Able to work in a collaborative environment.
  • Strong understanding of technical and business concepts.
  • Strong planning and organizational skills.
  • Strong product and service design skills.
