Description:

SENIOR BUSINESS ANALYST

KAI Partners is currently seeking experienced, motivated, and flexible candidates, to join our team as a Business Analyst. The Business Analyst is responsible for work that involves applying analytical processes to the planning, design, and implementation of new and improved business information systems and business processes to meet the business requirements of customer organizations.

SKILLS AND QUALIFICATIONS:

  • Excellent oral and written communication and interpersonal skills, patience, and dedication when working with clients, vendors, and internal teams.
  • Strong analytical, critical, and creative problem-solving skills.
  • Knowledge of Pharmacy programs and benefit configurations is desirable.
  • Ability to identify process and system problems.
  • Pro-active self-starter who is comfortable working with cross-functional teams
  • Excellent computer proficiency (MS Office – Word, Excel, and Outlook).
  • Ability to work under pressure and meet multiple deadlines simultaneously, while maintaining a positive attitude and providing exemplary customer service.
  • Ability to work independently and to carry out assignments to completion within parameters of instructions given prescribed routines, and standard accepted practices.

WORK/EDUCATION EXPERIENCE:

  • Bachelor’s Degree (Preferred)
  • 7+ years of project or program management experience applying principles, methods, techniques, and tools. (Preferably in a healthcare and/or pharmacy environment)
    Compensation Range: $111,000 – $141,000
    The salary range for this role may vary depending on the specific geographic location where this position is ultimately filled. Several factors, including but not limited to a candidate’s experience, education, skills, certifications, pay equity, and organizational needs, are considered when determining the posted salary range. In addition, eligible roles also qualify for a comprehensive benefits package.

Responsibilities:

  • Support clients in enhancing health programs, including pharmacy programs.
  • Identify where process and system problems exist and develop and implement plans to remedy the problems.
  • Lead and/or take direction from a project manager to work with clients in collecting, developing, documenting, confirming, and updating compliance with certification requirements.
  • Facilitate and document pre-project initiation activities.
  • Conduct detailed document reviews, refine documents, and consolidate feedback.
  • Support clients in developing professional and compelling healthcare-related business analysis documentation.
  • Monitor, track, and report on client projects for governance and communication purposes.
  • Synthesize current business intelligence or trend data to support actionable recommendations.
  • Leverage advanced data tools to design effective data visualizations for executives, managers, clients, and stakeholders.
  • Generate standard or custom reports summarizing business, financial, or economic data.
  • Maintain or update business intelligence tools, databases, dashboards, systems, or methods.
  • Exercise discretion and independent judgment in responsibilities and assignments.
  • Comply with engagement and quality management processes and standards.
  • Uphold the highest level of professionalism as per KAI Partners standards and ethics.
  • Support the KAI back-office team with requests for support and growth.
  • Contribute to continuous improvements of the delivery organization.
  • Perform other duties as assigned.
