Description:
This role is hybrid and requires you to be in our downtown Toronto client’s office (44King St E, Toronto) 1 times per week - subject to change at any time.
- Understanding of key liquidity regulations such as FR 2052a, LCR, NSFR and NCCF.
- Interact with the Business team and analyze regulatory documents to decipher requirements.
- Prepare Business Architecture & Business Requirement documents.
- Develop Function Requirements specifications & Business Data requirements Inventory with definitions.
- Defining Functional Test Scenarios & Test Cases.
- Provide overall functional guidance to the technology team.
Preferred skills
- Understanding of the Bank’s application system and software from a business/technical viewpoint is required to assess the impact of development and/or changes to the overall data processing environment).
- Experience managing projects that span change in front, middle or back-office systems and team
Responsibilities:
YOUR FUTURE DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
- Demonstrate an informed knowledge of business functions to resolve problems and capitalize on improvement opportunities. Interact with the Business team and analyze regulatory documents to decipher requirements.
- Ensure business specifications/requirements documentation is accurately prepared and comprehensive to support sizing/development efforts and as input to various project documentation.
- Develop and deliver Business Requirements Documents, Design Documents, Use Cases, and Process Models as required.
- Participate in the development of detailed project plans, the monitoring of progress against planned objectives, the financial review, and securing consensus and co-operation from users and senior management.
- Work closely across GBME technology teams during all stages of the system development life cycle and bridge the gap between business and technology sides of the solution.
- Liaising between the business community and the IT organization to provide technical solutions that meet user needs.
- Build relationships and communicate effectively with Global team.
REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS TO BE SUCCESSFUL IN THIS ROLE
Must have skills:
5 years in Banking Risk Management, Regulatory Domain and Liquidity Risk & Asset Liability Management.
- Experience & Solid understanding of Liquidity Risk functions such as Cash flows, Haircuts, and Liquidity assets eligibility assessment.
- Understanding of key liquidity regulations such as FR 2052a, LCR, NSFR and NCCF.
- Develop Function Requirements specifications & Business Data requirements Inventory with definitions.
- Defining Functional Test Scenarios & Test Cases.
- Provide overall functional guidance to the technology team.
- Analytical bent of mind, good ability to listen, communicate, and effectively articulate.
- Write SQL queries for data mining.
- Experience with the Atlassian Tool Suite (JIRA, Confluence).
- Experience in an Agile environment.
