WORK EXPERIENCE:
- Minimum of 5 years as a senior level Business Analyst.
- The Senior Business Analyst will assist the project management team on a large-scale applications development project.
- Seeking a Senior Business Analyst to serve as the primary interface to business users, to assist the IT development team in understanding the business processes, workflows, and general project management.
- The Senior Business Analyst will primarily serve in the support of existing applications and configuration of new functionality on an enterprise-wide platform.
- The candidate must have strong project management skills, including the ability to create and manage project plans, status tracking and reporting, and the creation of communication and training guides.
- In addition, the candidate must be able to effectively communicate with stakeholders to define requirements and resolve issues.
Qualifications:
TECHNICAL SKILLS:
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- An analytical mind with strong planning, organizational, and problem-solving skills.
- Experience managing project plans and project status reporting.
- Experience with gathering and documenting user requirements.
- Experience working within a team environment, as well as independently.
- Experience with leading/managing projects in accordance with the Agile methodology.
- Experience with Visio and Microsoft Project, Microsoft PowerPoint, and Microsoft Excel a plus.
- Ability to write test scripts/plans for web applications when needed.
- Ability to perform test script execution and quality assurance testing when needed.
* BS/BA in Information Systems, Computer Science or related field HIGHLY DESIRABLE
