ABOUT YOU
You will be a motivated and passionate Business Analyst who is able to partner with senior stakeholders to produce artefacts relevant to all phases of a project life cycle. You have a demonstrated capability to lead by example and your ability to apply well-developed communication and interpersonal skills to your work means that you are able to effectively impact and influence stakeholders to determine effective solutions.
We also seek:
- Experience developing either digital lending platforms or internet/mobile banking platforms
- Experience working within an agile environment
- Proven analytical and conceptual thinking skills
- Attention to detail and desire to probe into data and architectural elements
- Excellent organisational skills and an ability to manage a busy workload
- Experience in in Lending, Core Banking and/or Data Migration programs or similar within the Financial Industry will be highly regarded
Additionally, although not essential, we would favour candidates with experience applying agile techniques to banking process architecture and/or core business processes – such as finance, HR, compliance, retail, risk.

As a Senior Business Analyst you will be placed within our ambitious and unique Integration Program and directly impact the success of our emerging Lending offerings to our members. Leveraging off your previous Business Analyst experience you will be well placed to provide expertise to the business during this period of exciting change. You will proactively establish relationships with key program stakeholders to successfully analyse, evaluate and represent the Lending program to the broader business. As a Senior member of the functional Business Analyst team, you will provide guidance to less experienced team members. You will also directly impact the overall success of the function by contributing to the Business Analysis and Improvement Community of Practice.
YOUR KEY RESPONSIBILITIES WILL INCLUDE:
- Working with your Agile Squad members to prioritise and action build tasks to deliver value
- Working with user stories to ensure completeness, consistency, comprehensibility, feasibility, conformity to standards as well as traceability to system functions
- Creating process models, specifications, diagrams and charts to provide direction to business and technical stakeholders
- Managing and tracking the status of requirements through each iteration
- Assisting with UAT and business readiness and acceptance
- Working with stakeholders to assess change impact and identify remediation requirements for people and process
