A top tier Private Banking is expanding their team in Sydney, Australia. The bank is looking for an experience Business Analyst to work directly with Business on change management and projects accross APAC.
REQUIREMENTS
- Bachelor’s degree in business, finance, IT, or related fields
- Substantial practical experience in project management (preferably in the Banking
sector - Private/Retail experience is a bonus)
- Familiarity with Agile development practices is a positive attribute.
- Excellent project management, people management, influencing, and analytical skills
- Ability to think strategically while also understanding technical details
- Possess a solution-oriented mindset. Willingness to experiment and adapt.
- Proficient in both written and spoken English
- Proficient in Chinese (including Putonghua) is advantageous.
- Attentive to detail, hardworking, and capable of working under pressure and meeting
deadlines
- Mature, self-motivated, proactive, with a strong commitment to excellence

Responsibilities:
Assist Product Owners in developing strategic and operational solutions alongside
business partners (e.g., Technology, Operations, and Legal) to accomplish business
goals. The scope of work may involve:
- Establishing project boundaries and identifying business requirements with
stakeholders and different functional teams. Conduct business analysis, prepare
user stories, determine workflow, and offer suggestions for process improvements
and system upgrades.
- Manage and execute project tasks from initial feasibility study, requirement
analysis/documentation, and UAT management (including UAT test scripts) to
supporting implementation.
- Evaluate project performance after implementation and collaborate with
stakeholders to address any production issues.
Project planning and management
- Take responsibility for outlining project timelines and execution strategies.
- Monitor project progress and ensure timely, within-scope, and within-budget
delivery of all projects.
- Prepare project communication materials, including but not limited to status
updates and presentations for the steering committee.
- Keep track of all deliverables and dependencies.
- Communicate project status and timelines to all stakeholders. Chair working
groups as needed.
- Handle and resolve conflicts related to resources and expectations among
stakeholders. Escalate issues when necessary.
