Senior Business Analyst On behalf of our client in the Government Services Sector, PROCOM is looking for a Senior Business Analyst. Senior Business Analyst - Job Description

• The successful candidate will be supporting product initiatives, participating in various working groups, and collaborating closely with technical teams, delivery managers, business sponsors, and subject matter experts
• The Senior Business Analyst will be responsible for the application of technical proficiency across different stages of the Software Development Life Cycle including Requirements Elicitation, Application Architecture definition, and Design
• They will also create high-level design artifacts, lead validation for all types of testing, and support activities related to implementation, transition, and warranty

• This role will also involve troubleshooting production issues, liaising with business partners, and supporting QA team testing activities

  Senior Business Analyst - Mandatory Skills

• 10+ years of hands-on experience in working with business stakeholders on functional design sessions and detailed solution design sessions, and negotiating and triaging issues for production

• They must also have at least 8 years of experience as an IT Business Analyst, with progressive experience supporting medium to large size projects
• Additionally, they must have at least 5 years of hands-on experience in providing the first level of triaging support for business and technical SMEs in identifying design gaps from testing cycles and production

• Knowledge of Agile methodologies (Scrum/Kanban) and the proven ability to apply them effectively and project work tracking tools such as Azure DevOps or JIRA is also required

  Senior Business Analyst - Preferred Skills

• The ideal candidate will have a proven track record working as part of an Agile team where responsibilities include the planning and delivery of user stories in an Agile SCRUM environment

• They should also have experience working on large systems implementation projects, ideally with experience in all phases of the system development life cycle

• Excellent analytical, logical, and interpersonal skills, as well as solid presentation, facilitation, interview, and workshop skills are preferred
