OVERVIEW:

Circular Materials is seeking a Senior Business Analyst, SAP, ERP - Remote to join our team and play a pivotal role in the implementation of our technical and operational projects. As a SSenior Business Analyst, SAP, ERP, you will be assigned to cross-functional projects and act as a vital link between business stakeholders and our technical implementation team, ensuring the successful alignment of our initiatives with organizational goals. Your keen business skills, extensive data analysis expertise, ability to elicit, document, and translate business requirements into actionable outcomes will be crucial in delivering robust and user-friendly, business-outcome focused SAP ERP and data-centric enterprise solutions.
Reporting to the Senior Director, Product Management & Business Analysis in the Data Management & Program Delivery department, as a data-focused Business Analyst, you will play a key role in the success of our enterprise strategies, ensuring the quality and integrity of our data assets and solutions through a variety of initiatives, including a seamless migration to SAP S/4HANA.

EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE:

• Bachelor’s degree in business administration, Business Analytics, Data Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
• +4 years of relevant experience in Business Analysis roles, or similar.
• Proven experience working on SAP S/4HANA or relevant ERP and Business/Data warehouse initiatives.
• Experience implementing S/4HANA or other SAP products is strongly preferred.
• Professional business certifications (ECBA, CCBA, CBAP, PBA) are an asset.

SKILLS:

• In-depth understanding of SAP modules and functionalities. Hands-on experience in SAP system configuration, customization, and enhancement.
• Proficiency in business analysis techniques, such as requirements elicitation, process modeling, data analysis, and documentation, to translate business needs into technical requirements for the SAP implementation. Experience with data analysis, mapping, and migration processes.
• Strong data analysis skills to assess data quality, integrity, and consistency within the SAP system, as well as proficiency in data migration and conversion processes. Knowledge of business process optimization and workflow analysis.
• Knowledge of software testing methodologies and tools to plan, execute, and evaluate system testing activities, including unit testing, integration testing, and user acceptance testing (UAT). Excellent communication and interpersonal skills for effective collaboration with diverse stakeholders.
• Familiarity with project management principles and methodologies to effectively plan, execute, and monitor the delivery projects.
• Experience using project management tools such as Jira, Asana, or Microsoft Project to plan, track, and manage tasks, timelines, and resources throughout the ERP implementation lifecycle.
• Familiarity with visualization and collaboration tools like LucidChart or Microsoft Visio to create process flow diagrams, data models, and system diagrams, facilitating communication and alignment among project stakeholders.
• Familiarity with Business Warehouse implementations and data warehousing concepts.
• Proven communication, leadership, and time management skills.
• Ability to prioritize and manage multiple tasks in a dynamic work environment.
• Adaptable and able to thrive in a fast-paced and evolving project environment.

• Collaborate with business and technical stakeholders (internal and external) to understand scope, data, implementation requirements and objectives for projects related to the current ERP system and Business Warehouse.
• Conduct interviews, workshops, and surveys to collect detailed information on user requirements and workflows; including but not limited to SAP functionalities and processes, ensuring a smooth transition and adoption.
• Conduct detailed analysis and documentation of existing business processes, workflows and systems to identify gaps and opportunities for improvement in our current processes.
• Collaborate with Data Management & Governance specialists to ensure the timely delivery of data-focused initiatives.
• Create comprehensive documentation, including business requirements, user stories, data flow diagrams, and data mapping, ensuring clear communication between technical and non-technical stakeholders.
• Act as a SME and a liaison between business users and technical teams, translating data-related business needs into actionable technical requirements while providing guidance and support to business users and project team members throughout the implementation lifecycle.
• Work with stakeholders to prioritize requirements based on business value, ensuring a focus on critical features and functionalities.
• Analyze data structures and collaborate with data analysts for accurate data migration and management.
• Work on data migration strategies and processes to transition data to new data management tools and solutions.
• Identify opportunities for continuous improvement and optimization of processes, providing insights and recommendations based on user feedback.
