This necessitates a leadership role focused on defining, analyzing, and validating functional requirements for large and complex projects, aligning closely with customers and other divisions. Success in this role involves evaluating solutions to technical and business problems, providing highly technical or relevant business knowledge, producing, and maintaining conceptual models, and leading business process redesign. We are in search of an ideal candidate with a strong technical foundation in data models within an enterprise setting as Senior Business Analyst. This role primarily involves gathering requirements from business stakeholders, comprehending intricate business processes, and adeptly translating these insights into story points for development. The key responsibilities include defining clear “Definition of Done” criteria for development teams.

What to Expect?

Requirement Gathering and Analysis:

• Engage with business collaborators to elicit, document, and analyze their requirements.
• Translate business needs into comprehensive and detailed technical stories for development teams.
• Conduct workshops and interviews to understand business processes and find opportunities for improvement.

Technical Competence:

• Possess a solid technical background, with specific expertise in the Elastic, Logstash, and Kibana stack.
• Collaborate with developers and technical teams to ensure accurate implementation of business requirements.
• Provide insights and recommendations on technical feasibility and best practices within the ELK Stack.

Stakeholder Collaboration:

• Foster strong relationships with business partners, IT teams, and other collaborators.
• Facilitate communication between technical and non-technical teams, ensuring a shared understanding of project goals and timelines.

Documentation:

• Create clear and concise documentation, including user stories, process flows, and technical specifications.
• Maintain accurate and up-to-date records of requirements throughout the project lifecycle.

Project Management:

• Collaborate with project managers to define project scope, objectives, and timelines.
• Assist in the identification and management of project risks and issues.

What will make you successful?

• Education: Bachelor’s/Master’s degree in Business, Information Technology, or a related field.
• Minimum of 7 years of experience as a Business Analyst.
• Proven track record of working with a variety of business partners and team members.
• Substantial experience in translating business requirements into technical specifications, preferably on the ELK Stack.

Technical Skills:

• In-depth understanding of the ELK Stack and its capabilities.
• Familiarity with data models
• Proficiency in data analysis tools and techniques.

Communication Skills:

• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
• Ability to explain complex technical concepts to non-technical team members.

Analytical Skills:

• Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.
• Attention to detail in documenting and validating requirements.

Team Collaboration:

• Demonstrable ability to work closely in multi-functional teams.
• Experience in Agile/Scrum methodologies is a plus.

Industry Certifications:

• Business Analysis Professional (CBAP) or equivalent certification is desirable.
• ELK Stack certifications or relevant training is a plus.
