Description:
The Senior Business Analyst (Healthcare) will play a vital role in Thomson Medical’s digital transformation project. This role will collaborate with cross-functional teams, including IT, operations, and medical professionals, to gather requirements, analyse business processes, and translate them into innovative technology solutions. This role requires a combination of technical expertise, business acumen, and excellent communication skills to bridge the gap between stakeholders and development teams.
REQUIREMENTS:
- Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Information Technology, Health Informatics, or a related field.
- At least 3 years of relevant experience in business analysis or digital transformation projects in healthcare, preferably in a hospital setting.
- Have knowledge on SQL queries or stored procedures optional, but good to have.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to translate complex concepts into actionable recommendations.
- Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written, with the ability to engage and influence stakeholders at all levels.
- Proficiency in documenting user journey map and requirements, process flows, and use cases using industry-standard tools.
- Familiarity with agile methodologies and experience working in an Agile/Scrum environment is desirable.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team, with a proactive and self-driven approach.
- Passion for changing how healthcare is delivered in women and children health.
- Demonstrates a strong work ethic, embracing the demands of tight deadlines and high expectations.
- Strives to meet project timelines and objectives with dedication and efficiency.
Responsibilities:
- Lead the functional design and rollout of specialised modules within Thomson Medical’s new Healthcare Management System.
- Collaborate with stakeholders to identify, gather, and document business requirements and process flows.
- Conduct thorough analysis of existing business processes, workflows, and systems to identify areas for improvement and optimisation.
- Translate business requirements into functional specifications (Epics) and user stories for developers and designers.
- Participate in the design, development, and testing of core systems and end-user applications, ensuring alignment with business needs.
- Collaborate with technical teams to troubleshoot and resolve system issues, providing timely support and escalation when necessary.
- Perform functional testing and conduct user acceptance testing (UAT) to validate system functionality and ensure it meets business requirements.
- Monitor project progress, identify risks, and proactively propose mitigation strategies.
- Stay up to date with industry trends, emerging technologies, and best practices related to healthcare and digital transformation.
- Contribute to knowledge sharing and training initiatives to enhance team capabilities.
