The Senior Business Analyst will be joining the GTS team to work on the Enterprise Payments program within Westpac, working alongside a large team of Business Analysts dedicated to the program, under a hybrid Agile/Waterfall methodology. In this role you will be responsible for leading the definition, elicitation, prioritisation and validation of requirements, and design of business processes to meet the needs of the organisation. You will be reviewing and revising documentation in light of any new information and/ or changes to initial assumptions, including implications for project time, cost quality and risk. In addition to this you will:

• Define and drive “As Is” and “To Be” processes.
• Support testing, training, and implementation activities to ensure the successful delivery of the overall business and technology solutions.
• Construct the business case and benefits realisation plan, specifically analysing the proposed solution to deliver the desired business outcome and associated project costs

To be successful in this role you will be an experienced Senior Business Analyst with prior experience working on transformational change projects within large organisations. You will have experience in data analysis and be able to utilise a combination of data dictionaries and stakeholder engagement to identify structure of data in various repositories as well as experience in writing SQL queries. You will have the ability to work with both business and technical change, engaging business, and technical stakeholders to document “As Is” / “To Be” process flows. Additionally, you will:

• Be able to represent the requirements of a scope item throughout the delivery lifecycle.
• Have the ability to work in a test support capability.
• Be able to manage and engage stakeholders up to Senior Manager level.
• Come from a banking background and ideally have cards or payments experience (highly desirable)
