REQUIREMENTS:
- Bachelor’s degree in Business, Marketing, or a related field; MBA or equivalent advanced degree preferred.
- 10+ years of direct enterprise sales or business development experience in a consultative and/or solution sales based environment; knowledge of mobile payments, mobile gaming, digital content monetization and/or e-commerce required.
- Demonstrated ability to acquire new customer relationships with a successful track record of achieving/ exceeding individual sales targets.
- Experience in solution selling; strong influencing and negotiation skills; consultative and collaborative style and an ability to develop and maintain effective relationships internally and externally.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills and effective listening skills; able to consolidate and succinctly translate and relay market/client feedback to Product and Engineering teams and present and discuss complex concepts to executive audiences.
- Strong analytical skills; independent decision-making capabilities coupled with the ability to analyse situations and provide practical recommendations.
- Highly motivated sales hunter, entrepreneurial and eager to contribute to a high-growth business.

ABOUT THIS ROLE
The Senior Business Development Director, Global Partnerships - EMEA reports to the Senior Vice President of Global Partnerships and will be responsible for driving the growth and success of Coda’s Publishing Partnerships initiatives within the EMEA region. In this capacity, this role is responsible for the identification, sourcing, execution and expansion of Publishing Partnerships that drive both measurable value for our partners and meaningful revenue growth for Coda across Europe, the Middle East and Africa. This role demands a strategic and results-driven self starter with a proven track record in consultative enterprise sales, business development, and market expansion. The ideal candidate will possess deep industry knowledge, exceptional leadership skills, a proven ability to operate in ambiguity and the ability to forge and maintain lasting and trusted strategic partnerships with key stakeholders at all levels.
RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Sales Strategy and Execution: Develop and implement a comprehensive sales strategy to drive revenue growth and market share across the EMEA region. Identify and target high-potential enterprise accounts, understanding their business needs and presenting tailored solutions. Lead the end-to-end sales process, from prospecting and qualification to negotiation and closing deals.
- Business Development: Identify new business opportunities and market trends within the EMEA region to expand our customer base and market presence. Build and maintain strong relationships with key decision-makers, influencers, and stakeholders within target enterprises. Collaborate with cross-functional teams to develop and execute go-to-market strategies, including product positioning, pricing, and promotional activities.
- Market Analysis and Reporting: Conduct thorough market research and analysis to identify opportunities, competitive landscape, and customer needs within the EMEA region. Provide regular reports and insights to senior management, highlighting sales performance, market trends, and strategic recommendations. Monitor and analyse key performance metrics, ensuring the achievement of sales targets and objectives.
