Description:
The role of Senior Business Development Manager (Institutional) is to grow funds under management in BNP Paribas Asset Management products and services from selected organizations in Australia and New Zealand.
SPECIFIC QUALIFICATIONS REQUIRED
At least ten years’ experience in a similar role at a major global fund manager
Excellent written, verbal and presentation skills.
Ability to communicate effectively at all levels.
Ability to build strong internal and external relationships.
Willingness to work flexible hours and manage time effectively.
Responsibilities:
Development, implementation and monitoring of a sales plan targeting specified institutional investors in Australia covering global equities, global fixed income and alternatives
Delivery of institutional sales and revenue targets and other relevant criteria as agreed with the CEO
Management of an agreed panel of relationships that includes superannuation funds, government funds, multi managers, insurance companies and not for profits in order to drive funds under management into BNP Paribas Asset Management products and services
Work as a member of the Institutional sales team in managing consultant relationships in order to grow and develop product ratings
Closely collaborate with the Wholesale Distribution sales team to drive the mutual goal of increased funds under management from the Australian and New Zealand markets
Closely collaborate with other business units both locally and globally on Marketing and Client Account Management initiatives
Keep abreast of competitor activity and market development and tailor the sales plan accordingly
Collaborate with the Product Development team in order to enhance existing products and/or create product concepts and initiatives for the Institutional segment
Development of a deep understanding of BNP Paribas Asset Management products and services
Maintain client data and a sales pipeline in the nominated Client Relationship system
