Our client is a chemical proteomics company focused on supporting drug and biomarker discovery with its unique expertise and innovative technologies. The company provides and develops proteome-wide assays that work with native proteins in a physiological setting and enable the identification of small molecule drug targets, target engagement markers, molecular mechanisms of action and drug response biomarkers.

Tasks

After an initial training period, you will take responsibility for:

  • driving sales growth and market presence in your territory
  • building new customer relationships and supporting existing customers
  • establishing contract research projects from initial discussions with clients to contract execution.
  • presenting our client’s technology platform to prospective customers, understanding customer needs and identifying value-adding opportunities for potential contract research projects
  • representing our client at relevant industry and scientific conferences, meetings and symposia, including visits to the company’s headquarters in the Munich area.

Requirements
Do you hold a university degree in biochemistry, biology, biomedicine or a related field? Are you an innate sales/business development talent with a profound grasp of the drug discovery and development process? Can you effectively advise your clients on how ‘omics technologies can enhance their objectives? Do you have a strong interest in connecting scientific information with a business approach? Do you also have the strategic skills to identify and tap new market potential? Do you enjoy working independently, while being embedded in a collaborative and high-performance team?
