Description:

We are currently looking for a Celonis - Senior Business Development Manager to join our Sales Team. Ideally, you are based in the United Kingdom, but you can also be based across Europe. We also offer the option to work remote.
As our new Senior Business Development Manager, you will be responsible for driving Celonis proof of value propositions globally. You will collaborate with regional sales teams to develop pipelines and lead proposals, ensuring we effectively demonstrate the value of Celonis to potential clients.
In this role, you will be a key part of our sales team, identifying opportunities, addressing client queries, providing expert advice, and introducing new products and technologies. Your responsibilities include not only approaching potential clients to win new business but also developing and strengthening relationships with existing clients. As such, you will play a crucial role as a trusted advisor in our clients’ digital transformation journeys.
You will be reporting to our Global Practice Lead Process Excellence and Mining.

REQUIREMENTS

  • 2 to 3 years’ experience in process mining, ideally Celonis
  • 6 to 8 years in a dedicated Sales or Business Development role in consultancy.
  • A resilient network in the UK and demonstrable experience in new business sales with large organizations in UK
  • Experience in complex solution selling that includes the introduction of projects of, IT-services and/or process development initiatives
  • Experienced in driving sales initiative from first contact to signed engagement
  • Experience in developing strategies for growth
  • Strong business focus with good understanding from working with stakeholders at CEO level
  • Great interest in digitalization technologies
  • Fluent in English
  • Flexibility and willingness to travel when required

SKILLS THAT WE SEE AS A BIG PLUS:

  • Experience in Retail or Financial Services.
  • Experience in IT- / Management consulting from project management or project delivery will be an advantage, and your ability to understand and translate client needs into solutions will be of great importance.
  • Knowledge of Hyperautomation tools and techniques.
  • Knowledge of Lean Six Sigma

Responsibilities:

  • Develop the regional sales strategy and framework for the team to use
  • Execution of strategic and tactical account planning, as well as effective implementation of sales methodologies with high cross-selling potential
  • Developing and building existing customer relationships and acquiring new customers
  • Responsible for the complete sales cycle (end-to-end)
  • Processing of tenders in cooperation with our delivery team
  • Creation of “customized” pitch decks and individualized offers
  • Communication and close collaboration with our technology partners
  • Forecasting and CRM reporting
  • Run or participate in events and sales/marketing activities with a focus on existing and potential client business opportunities
