Description:
The post holder will be responsible for coordinating the departments provision of insight and analysis specifically around elective care. They will be able to set up reporting mechanisms to provide clear concise reports that meet the requirements of the service. They will be able to use the most appropriate method e.g. Excel, Power BI.
They will track performance against strategic aims and operational plans. They will investigate highly complex and potentially sensitive issues providing specialised assistance and advice as required to support decision making. They will be skilled in producing documentation to a professional high standard and to tight deadlines, will show initiative and self-motivation and will have excellent interpersonal skills, given the need to pro-actively support senior managers and clinicians through their analytical skills and knowledge of NHS information, performance, and planning frameworks. The post holder will be educated to degree level with evidence of continuing professional development in the field of Business Intelligence and Analysis.
