SUMMARY

Reports to: Senior Associate Director, Digital Infrastructure, Office of University Development
Supervises: N/A
The Digital Infrastructure team at the Office of University Development is responsible for building, maintaining and supporting a major part of the infrastructure for Michigan Online Giving, fundraising and campaign activities. Our systems are complex and we aim to stay on the forefront of technology. You will gather and document requirements for solutions large and small, capture, create process related documentations, be the liaison between partners and our team, and perform business analysis to increase efficiencies. You will also participate in creating the scope of work for projects, attend project related meetings and other team and unit meetings. We continue to work toward excellence in diversity, equity and inclusion and you will connect the intersection of technology and DEI in your work.
Responsibilities include 30% Gathering and Documenting Requirements, Processes and Solutions, 25% Process Development, 20% Analysis, and 25% Scrum and Project Management.

REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS*

  • 4+ years experience in business, customer relations, workflow, analytics and other industry-related knowledge.
  • Bachelor’s degree or equivalent combination of education and experience.
  • Experience in requirements gathering and data analysis.
  • Proficient in tools to capture processes and create flowcharts.
  • Analytical experience resolving complex integration issues involving multiple technologies and business areas.
  • Facilitate meetings with diverse participants and be comfortable working with remote team members.
  • Experience with user interface design and usability analysis.
  • Basic knowledge of HTML and web development tools.
  • Understanding of different data model types (relational, dimensional, etc,.), and end-user information development and delivery practices.
  • Familiarity with Agile and Scrum approach, to work effectively in a dynamic team environment and adjust to changing priorities, processes, and project plans.
  • Willingness for learning new technologies.
