Responsibilities:

Reporting to the Estates and Campus Services Operations Manager, the Senior Campus Services Officer will be responsible for the delivery of high standards of service from the Campus Services Operations Team, including Campus Services Team Members, Receptionists and the Goods-in team.
Through management of the Campus Services Operations Team and close collaboration with the total facilities management provider and other contractors and suppliers, you will deliver excellent levels of customer service standards in the provision of campus services to colleagues, students, visitors, contractors and suppliers of AUB. This will involve the constant overseeing of a clean, safe, pleasant and well-maintained campus that includes sites away from the main Wallisdown campus.
Health, safety and compliance will be a crucial factor in the delivery of these high standards, as will strong consideration of the environmental and sustainability impact of operations and the equity, diversity and inclusivity implications of activities. You will need to have a strong understanding and awareness of how the Campus Services Operations Team will support AUB Strategy 2030.
You will utilise management experience and skills including; rota scheduling, activity planning and training to provide a high performing team that is integrated and capable of covering roles when necessary. Collaboration with other colleagues within the Estates and Campus Services department will be required to support delivery of minor building works on campus including contractor management and Health and Safety monitoring.
Educated to degree level or with an equivalent qualification or experience, you will be self-motivated and an influential communicator, both verbally and in writing not only with team members but other internal stakeholders and many external stakeholders such as contractors, suppliers, neighbours and the local council. You must have the ability to manage staff and proactively organise positive performance management techniques to assist the department in operating as a highly influential team.
