• Manage a mixed portfolio of Casualty claims with an emphasis on Medical Malpractice claims in the UAE, Employer’s Liability claims in Turkey.
• Assess policy coverage, liability and claim reserving.
• Identify and pursue recovery opportunities.
• Provide high levels of customer service with clear communication to insureds and brokers with a proactive approach to achieving the best outcome for our insured.
• Being the market face of Casualty claims for BHSI and working together with customers, brokers and vendors to drive claims to timely and appropriate resolution.
• Work closely with underwriters and actuaries to report on claim developments and trends and support the delivery of BHSI’s plans, goals and objectives.
• Work closely with the Claims Operations and IT teams to develop and improve systems and processes for effective claims handling.
• Work with the underwriting team in developing new products and wordings.
• As needed travel to customer / broker meetings, mediations, conferences etc
