Senior Central Analyst

We are looking for a Senior Data Analyst to act as a key member of our central analytics team. This pivotal role demands a unique blend of data experience, strategic business acumen, and exceptional analytical capabilities. You’ll delve deep into complex analyses across our portfolio of games, e-commerce platforms, player support systems, and more, providing insights that drive our strategic direction. If you’re a versatile analyst who can sketch a compelling presentation one moment and pivot to setting up a bigger project the next, we want you on our team.

The role involves the following areas:

• Examples of Strategic Analysis: Conduct in-depth analyses of our game portfolio, identifying cross-title behaviors and opportunities for growth, for example work with our In App Advertisement efforst. Analyze player data to inform our strategies.
• Business Acumen: Work closely with various departments, including SC Store, our e-commerce site, player support, and finance to develop and implement analytics solutions that enhance our business operations and player experience.
• Presentation and Communication: Prepare and present insights and strategic recommendations to senior management, translating complex analyses into actionable business strategies.
• Data Projects: Collaborate on the design and implementation of data projects, for example ranging from the potential setup of a machine learning project to figuring out how we project the success of our new games in a robust way.
• Systematic Improvements: Evaluate, recommend, and help implement new analytics systems and tools to improve efficiency and provide deeper insights into our business operations.
• Leadership and Collaboration: Act as a thought leader within the analytics team, mentoring other analysts and fostering a culture of innovation and continuous improvement.

REQUIREMENTS

• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Data Science, Economics, Business, or a related field.
• Proven experience in data analysis and strategy, preferably in the gaming or tech industry.
• Strong understanding of data science concepts and experience in applying these in a business context.
• Exceptional analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to move from deep dives to strategic insights.
• Excellent presentation and communication skills, capable of conveying complex ideas to non-technical stakeholders.
• Experience with data analytics and visualization tools (SQL, Python, R, Tableau, etc.).
• A commercial mindset, with an understanding of the business implications of data insights.
• Demonstrated ability to lead projects and collaborate across departments.
