- Develop and maintain strong commercial relationships: This includes, loyally and with great engagement maintaining a close partnership with CM Biomass and other companies within the CM Group, delivering best-in-class freight services.
- Secure commercially advantageous charter agreements: Achieve this through strategic negotiation and market analysis, ensuring optimal freight rates and terms.
- Optimize vessel operations: Ensure efficient execution of charter agreements, monitor performance metrics, and identify areas for improvement to streamline operations.
- Mitigate risk and manage costs: Proactively assess and manage chartering risks, negotiate favourable terms, and control operational costs to safeguard both the company’s and clients’ interests, aligning with the Beliefs and Behaviours of CM.
- Lead market analysis and strategic planning: Collaborate with the Navi team to stay informed about industry trends, identify new chartering opportunities, and provide strategic insights to guide informed decision-making.
- Team development: Proactively take part in the further development of the Navi team.
