Senior Civil Design Engineer

As a Senior Engineer, you’ll use your engineering skills to lead the planning and design of infrastructure design projects, ensuring the successful delivery of the council’s capital works program.

Key Responsibilities:

• Deliver the engineering design program throughout all phases.
• Manage and develop infrastructure design documentation and cost estimates for civil projects spanning across stormwater, footpaths, roads, traffic facilities and cycleways.
• Enhance business plans and project briefs.
• Mentor junior engineers and oversee design projects.

Requirements:

• Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering recognized by Engineers Australia.
• Excellent knowledge of legislation, regulations, design standards and code of practice in construction.
• Extensive experience in detailed design, cost estimation, and specifications for stormwater drainage, geometric alignment and traffic facilities.
• High proficiency in AutoCAD, Civil3D/12D, Drains, road design software and Microsoft Office.
• Experience mentoring other engineers.
