We are looking for you,
Responsibilities:
YOUR ROLE IN CREATING A SUSTAINABLE FUTURE
- Build and maintain clear claims prevention & handling processes and cooperation models with stakeholders
- Lead the Claims Management team daily work
- Lead and support stakeholders in claims related activities
- Evaluate the legal and contractual validity of claims received from customers, owners, suppliers and other parties
- Negotiate and settle disputes
- Collect claims receivables
- Report and analyse claims related data
KEYS TO SUCCESS IN THIS ROLE
- Business, maritime, logistics and/or law degree or similar skills acquired through work
- Good legal argumentation and communication skills
- Knowledge about claims
- International experience in shipping and logistics activities of oil or chemical industry or marine/cargo insurance
- Previous experience in leading people as a line manager or leading a virtual / project team or proven track record of taking a leading role
- Ability to take a leadership role in the claims process and claim related investigations
- Flexibility in working hours within global environment requirements
- Excellent analytical and social skills with ability to make recommendations and decisions
- Ability to work independently and endure stress in a hectic working pace
- Courage to drive change - question, spar, develop and suggest improved ways of working
- Interest for develop processes
- Fluency in written and oral English
