Responsibilities:
- Management and strategic oversight for a complex portfolio of claims arising from Professional Indemnity, Employment Practices Liability, Directors & Officers and/or Public and Products Liability products with a focus on personal injury.
- Providing superior customer service and communication with internal and external customers to build a network of professional relationships.
- Managing and influencing stakeholders to promote alignment of claim strategies, develop and maintain strong working relationships and report on claim trends including significant losses.
- Using your technical experience and knowledge to ensure that claims are managed in a timely and cost-effective manner and appropriate strategies and solutions are implemented and pursued.
- Engaging with customers, intermediaries, and third-party representatives to influence the progress and negotiate settlement of a claim.
- Engaging with service providers including solicitors, loss adjusters and investigators, managing compliance, critically analysing advice, and steering claims towards finalisation.
