KEY ACCOUNTABILITIES
- Conduct research on climate change impacts and adaptation strategies.
- Gather, analyse, and process climate observations and large datasets to create actionable insights for stakeholders.
- Develop and maintain standards, policies, and quality assurance protocols for climate data products.
- Build and validate computer models to simulate climate change scenarios and natural hazard events.
- Collaborate with internal and external partners to enhance data science processes and best practices.
- Stay informed about legislative and regulatory frameworks related to climate resilience and disclosures.
SKILLS AND EXPERIENCE
- Strong understanding of climate change concepts and risk assessment methodologies.
- Experience working with climate data, geospatial data, and large-scale numerical models.
- Proficiency in data management, quality assurance, and statistical analysis.
- Experience in developing models related to natural catastrophes and analysing climate-related risks.
- Familiarity with sectors such as Financial Institutions and Property is advantageous.
- Relevant qualifications in environmental engineering, statistics, climate science, or related fields.
- Excellent analytical skills and a track record of driving climate resilience outcomes.
- Effective communication and collaboration skills with cross-functional teams and stakeholders.

As a member of the Climate Resilience Solutions team, you will play a pivotal role in researching climate change at global, regional, and local levels. You’ll collaborate closely with stakeholders to gather, analyse, and interpret data from various sources, including the atmosphere, oceans, and land.
