Senior Clinical Fellow - Hepatology

We believe this post offers an ideal opportunity to enhance their higher surgical experience by being exposed to all aspects of HPB surgery with an opportunity to enhance skills in HPB Surgery and Liver Transplantation. The Royal free has a busy Liver Transplant and HPB surgical Unit and is one of the most prestigious medical institutions in the United Kingdom. The work of the unit consists of complex biliary and pancreatic procedures, liver resections, abdominal sarcomas, and liver transplantation. The specialist nature of the work includes minimal access surgery and a living related liver transplantation programme.
The successful candidate will be expected to work at a senior clinical fellow level within this team and will be required to work in the operating theatre, take part in daily ward rounds, assist in out-patient clinics, participate in MDT meetings, and perform other relevant work as directed by the Consultants. The post-holder will also be required to participate in the sub-specialty on-call rota for liver transplant
