The Derby Parkinsons service is recognised by the US Parkinsons Foundation as a Centre of Excellence, one of only two centres in the UK with this accreditation. Our service includes not just neurologists and geriatricians, but specialists in old age psychiatry and palliative medicine, hospital and community-based Parkinsons nurse specialists and nationally recognised therapists. Our Trusts vision is taking pride in caring and our staff certainly do this. We have staff who go beyond the call of duty for our patients theyre our heroes.
