Description:

Senior Clinical Fellow in Obstetrics and Gynecology for 6 months
The purpose of this post is to provide extensive training in Obstetrics and Gynaecology
To participate in on call rota as a senior registrar.
To participate in audit and research.
To participate in clinical and other service activities with the object of ensuring a high standard of patient care.
To participate in undergraduate and postgraduate teaching and training.
The post-holder will get an excellent opportunity to improve their surgical skills in Gynaecology and Gynaecological scanning. They will gain experience in managing Gynaecological cancer patients by participating in multidisciplinary meetings and managing Oncology patients on the ward and in outpatients.

To provide high quality health care for patients referred to the Women’s Health department for diagnosis and treatment.
To participate in educational and audit meetings and meet CPD requirements.
To provide cover for colleagues during periods of annual leave.
To support the Hospital’s Clinical Governance Strategy and to participate in clinical audit.
To provide prompt effective advice for General Practitioners if necessary.
To contribute towards the development of protocols within the hospital and in conjunction with the community services as necessary.
To participate in departmental meetings and activities.
To contribute to the development of the service.
To provide continuing training for Clinical staff as appropriate
