A fantastic opportunity has arisen for a full-time fixed term Senior Clinical Fellow to join our Oral & Maxillofacial Surgery team at University Hospitals Coventry and Warwickshire NHS Trust.
We are looking for dynamic team players who wish to gain additional clinical or research experience in OMFS to either prepare them for specialty training or provide them with subspecialty experience prior to taking up a consultant post.

The majority of the successful candidate’s clinical sessions will be at UHCW but may include some out-patient clinical activity at either the Hospital of St Cross, Rugby, Warwick Hospital or George Eliot Hospital in Nuneaton. Clinical duties and responsibilities also include:
Working with other members of the Maxillofacial team to provide a comprehensive surgical service to the Trust, Primary Care Trusts and General Practitioners.
Participating in the Maxillofacial second on-call rota to ensure that appropriate emergency services are provided out-of-normal working hours.
Providing a consultation and advisory service to clinical colleagues in other specialties within the Trust and Primary Care when on-call.
Developing and maintaining collaborative relationships with medical colleagues in other specialties and participating in regular clinical meetings and other post graduate activities.
Participating in the professional supervision and development of trainee doctors within the specialty.
Demonstrating a firm understanding in Clinical Governance, Risk Management and Clinical Audit.
