Job Title: Senior Clinical Pharmacist

Salary: 70,287 – 81,508
We are currently seeking a highly skilled and experienced Senior Clinical Pharmacist to come and join one of Ireland’s Leading Private Hospitals in Dublin. The successful candidate will be responsible for providing clinical pharmacy services and ensuring the safe and effective use of medicines in our hospital.

Responsibilities:

  • Provide clinical pharmacy services to patients in the hospital, including drug information, drug therapy monitoring, and medication review.
  • Collaborate with physicians, nurses, and other healthcare professionals to ensure the safe and effective use of medications.
  • Participate in ward rounds, patient care meetings, and other clinical meetings to provide expert advice on medication-related issues.
  • Oversee the preparation and dispensing of sterile products using aseptic techniques.
  • Ensure compliance with relevant regulations and guidelines related to aseptic preparation and dispensing.
  • Develop and implement policies and procedures related to aseptic preparation and dispensing.
  • Train and supervise other pharmacy staff on aseptic techniques and procedures.
  • Participate in quality improvement initiatives to enhance the safety and effectiveness of medication use in the hospital.

Requirements:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Pharmacy or a related field.
  • Current registration with the Pharmaceutical Society of Ireland.
  • Minimum of 3 years of experience as a clinical pharmacist, with experience in aseptic preparation and dispensing.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • Knowledge of relevant regulations and guidelines related to aseptic preparation and dispensing.
