Description:

Job Description:
Do you want to run end-to-end clinical studies (most likely phases 2 and 3) in a global context with the freedom to perform? Are you looking for an opportunity to apply your industry experience broadly in a role that requires informal leadership?
At Ferring, we are working towards One Global R&D, ensuring our ability to handle the growth of future pipelines and operate in a truly global manner. This requires cross-functional alignment of how we operate, structure, and define processes within Global Clinical Operations.
As a senior team member, you will have ample opportunity to share your knowledge, impact how we refine and review our processes, and ultimately shape our ways of working moving forward.
Ferring + you
You will join Global Clinical Operations alongside 28 colleagues. Together, we are responsible for planning and executing clinical trials in phases 1-4 within all Ferring therapeutic areas, which include reproductive and women’s health, gastroenterology, and urology.
We continuously strive to accelerate the trial startup phase, drive operational effectiveness, provide scalability, and ensure consistency in execution. To that end, you will work alongside other clinical project managers (CPM), clinical operational managers (COM), and clinical site managers (CSM).
As we are a global organization, you will collaborate closely with your counterparts especially in the US and be responsible to our Director of Clinical Project Management.
Your day at Ferring
As a senior CPM, you will lead a clinical trial team and be accountable for complex clinical studies, including budgets, risk management, milestones, and quality.
Using your ability to delegate tasks and motivate your team, you will move your projects forward while aligning cross-functionally with other studies. Consequently, you will also be in close contact with the Clinical Project Lead and flag potential challenges that might affect the overall program.

Using your aptitude for problem-solving as well as your informal leadership skills, you will:

  • Communicate timelines, identify milestones, handle trial budgets, and report progress
  • Ensure oversight, including timelines, budget, and quality throughout the trials
  • Plan, deliver, and manage the clinical trials from start-up to closure together with the trial team
  • Select collaborators, laboratories, and sites internationally
  • Act as a go-to-person and mentor for less experienced colleagues

While we encourage you to spend your workdays at our offices in in Kastrup, Copenhagen (where we offer spectacular ocean views and state-of-the-art facilities), you can also work from home up to two days a week.
Behind our innovation – there’s you
We are looking for an experienced colleague who is ready to hit the ground running. You already have experience collaborating across departments and borders and are not afraid to make business-critical decisions based on the information at hand.
Naturally, you have great overview and planning skills. Perhaps more important in this role is your ability to lead through others. You do not just consider timelines and budgets but view each project as a team effort, with each individual responsible for their own tasks.

With your strategic overview, ability to delegate, and respect for the well-being of your team, you ensure that you all get to the finish line – and succeed together. To become a senior CPM, you will also need:

  • A degree in life science
  • Extensive experience in managing global clinical trials with a high level of complexity
  • Excellent stakeholder management and communication skills
