Seeking a skilled Software Engineer to augment our existing team of Clojure Software Engineers responsible for managing backend services.
We have a preference for Clojure enthusiasts who have either utilised it professionally or gained significant experience with it independently.
Our team endeavours to maintain high performance, trust, and autonomy, actively supporting each other in task completion while ensuring timely resolution of routine tasks. We occasionally engage in pair coding and prioritise knowledge sharing and mentorship, particularly for junior team members.

Ideal Candidate Profile:

  • Enthusiasm for Clojure
  • Proficiency in leading technical discussions and mentoring junior team members
  • Alignment with our team culture and business objectives
  • Aptitude for evaluating and articulating various software development approaches
  • Ability to recognise and apply software engineering patterns
  • Capacity to collaborate effectively with non-technical colleagues for discovery and domain modelling
  • Receptive to constructive feedback and capable of providing the same to peers
  • Commitment to holistic software functionality, including security, reliability, and maintainability
  • Strong opinions on testing methodologies and willingness to advocate for best practices

  • Familiarity with at least one cloud platform and experience with containerised applications
