POSITION OVERVIEW

Calian ITCS is currently seeking a Senior Cloud Architect specializing in ServiceNow IRM for a full-time, remote contract opportunity until end of March 2025.

This opportunity it to support the deployment and integration of ServiceNow’s Integrated Risk Management (IRM) and Continuous Authorization and Monitoring (CAM) modules to enhance cybersecurity frameworks.

QUALIFICATIONS

• Valid and active Enhanced Reliability Level I clearance with the Government of Canada (candidates who do not hold a clearance at this time will not be considered).
• 10+ years of experience designing and deploying systems on a cloud service provider and architecture experience.
• Minimum of 3+ years of experience implementing and configuring ServiceNow IRM modules and applications
• Experience working and implementing ITSG-33 guidelines.
• Experience with cloud security risk.

• Delivering a scalable and adaptable IRM solution, ensuring that the client can manage cybersecurity risks proactively and maintain security standards across its IT infrastructure. This involves both technical implementations and building an informed and capable user base:
• Design and execute a comprehensive project plan, to ensure alignment with governance processes with a clear definition of project phases, sprints, and testing timelines;
• Lead the documentation and refinement of user stories, aligning current and target states of the IRM deployment with industry best practices to facilitate a smooth transition to the new system;
• Tailor IRM configuration to meet project scope, business requirements and ensure integration with existing systems;
• Conduct workshops and training sessions for stakeholders, including end-user training and knowledge transfer, ensuring a high level of proficiency with the IRM system;
• Manage data migration effectively, ensuring that current data is accurately transferred to the IRM system without loss of integrity and functionality;
• Provide User Acceptance Testing (UAT) support, resolving defects and facilitating a smooth transition to the operational state, and post-deployment support to address any arising issues;
• Ensure compliance with technical policies throughout the deployment process, and give guidance for accessing and adapting to different technical environments;
• Deploy and operationalise IRM module;
• Adhere to technical policies and ensure procedures for access and deployment are followed within the various technical environments while aligning to industry best practices;
• Collaborate to formulate an integrated work plan that aligns with the overarching cybersecurity strategy;
• Implement IRM modules, tailoring them to the business needs. Ensure they meet specified requirements and provide a robust self-service experience with a user-friendly interface;
• Implementation, management, and adoption of key areas including SA&A, CRR, and Policy & Compliance;
• Set up workshops focusing on multiple areas within the IRM suite and Government of Canada policy instruments;
• Provide advisory services throughout the project duration to optimize IRM deployment;
• Provide an SA&A workflow that will leverage ServiceNow’s Continuous Assessment and Monitoring (CAM) solution with required configurations needed to meet ITSG-33 requirements; and
• Implement and integrate the IRM module to meet business requirements, and provide training and post-deployment support.
