Description:
THE OPPORTUNITY
As Veolia’s Senior Cloud Engineer, you will work within the Infrastructure & Cloud team to build, deliver, and manage IT solutions. You will be part of a highly agile and versatile team implementing and operating a hybrid cloud environment that delivers a range of enterprise solutions and services to thousands of users across Australia and New Zealand.
Responsibilities:
- Lead and participate in the infrastructure solution design and review process by developing design and cost estimation artefacts, considering the requirements of key stakeholders, IT Architecture policies, Strategy, Standards and Roadmaps.
- Manage the review and resolution of design decisions and issues through the solution design and delivery phases to ensure timely identification and resolution.
- Deploy Cloud & Infrastructure Solutions to meet relevant project and business requirements
- Optimise AWS-based solutions from the perspective of FinOps and Well-Architected Framework
- Automate solution deployment, monitoring and management tasks using automation and CICD toolsets.
