Work across all aspects of public cloud including to design, deploy and maintain cloud-based systems. You will share your extensive knowledge across the team, and you will assist in the migration of on-premises systems into the cloud.
Reporting to the Head of Infrastructure, Security & Operations, your responsibilities will include:
- Provide design, implementation and operational support to production infrastructure
- Set direction and leadership in the introduction of modern cloud platform techniques, methodologies and tools
- Scope all technical infrastructure including ‘Cloud’ based environments and some ‘Legacy’ on premise systems to accept the solution
- Participate in the planning, designing, commissioning and ongoing operation of software applications and supporting infrastructure products and systems
- Document all systems changes and implementation including problem resolution
- Provide mentoring to the technical team
- At times, lead the team, including setting team direction, promoting a solution and outcome basis and be prepared to ‘roll up your sleeves’ and be part of the solution

The successful candidate will have:
- 10+ years minimum in supporting IT infrastructure in a complex enterprise environment.
- Experience working in diverse locations and environments with 1500+ users.
- Technical expertise across cloud platform technologies (primarily AWS, as well as Microsoft Azure) in a heavy virtualised hybrid multi cloud environment.
- Technical expertise across the modern Microsoft enterprise software stack.
- 5+ years hands-on engineering experience across public cloud platforms (primarily AWS, as well as Microsoft Azure).
- Hands-on experience with deploying infrastructure as-code in an automated infrastructure deployment pipeline, as well as orchestration tooling.
- Hands-on engineering experience with the migration of systems into public cloud whether it be the “lift & shift” of infrastructure, or ‘transform’ migrations.
