A multinational company based in Sydney is looking to hire a Senior Cloud Engineer to their Infrastructure Team. The company has operations spanning 3 continents and has over 2,000 employees globally.
The company’s infrastructure is running off AWS and they are currently in the process of upgrading their infrastructure and services. The Senior Cloud Engineer will play a pivotal part in managing and maintaining the AWS Infrastructure, as well as working on projects to modernise the infrastructure.
Responsibilities:
- Support and maintain the company’s AWS Infrastructure
- Act as the ‘go to’ person for AWS related requests
- Work with other Senior Cloud Engineers on various infrastructure & cloud projects
- Manage both on-site and remote resolution of infrastructure / systems incidents
- Take ownership of escalated AWS support requests from the Level 2 team
- Manage the company’s disaster recovery
- Demonstrate excellent communication skills both verbal and written documentation
