JOB DESCRIPTION
The business area New Energy Solutions (NES) is Statkraft’s incubator of new energy businesses and has global responsibility for hydrogen, EV charging, biofuel, district heating, and research and development activities. The Future Business unit in NES is responsible for finding, developing, and scaling new opportunities in green energy technologies.
In this role you will work in the Industry Development department in Future Business, which is responsible for developing sites for new green industry development in Statkraft and market the sites towards power-intensive industry. As a Senior Commercial Advisor, you will play a key role in identifying new possibilities, projects and initiatives and build long-term relationships with decision makers in relevant industries.
QUALIFICATIONS
We believe that the right candidate is eager to join us to develop new sustainable industry based on renewables reducing the global emissions footprint. To achieve this, you should have the following qualifications:
- Relevant higher education at Master´s level (Economics, Industrial Economics, Management, Engineering, Law or similar)
- Experience within business development, sales and/or marketing, including managing a wide range of stakeholders
- Knowledge of industry driven business development
- Strong communication skills with fluency in both Norwegian and English
- If you have an existing network in one or more of the power intensive industries, it would be an advantage
Responsibilities:
- Create interest for our projects from potential investors, both from existing industry and from large international players
- Build and maintain relationships with decision makers across power-intensive industries and have key account management responsibility for relevant targets
- Gather and structure insight about expected market development and framework conditions of power intensive industries
- Develop, or contribute to development of, business cases for new site and business development projects
- Work closely with landowners and site developers to develop commercial aspects of projects, and further prepare prospects and market activities for each site
- Contribute to and deliver on market plan for Industry Development
- Lead or contribute to cross-functional projects within Industry Development, Future Business or across New Energy Solutions with a wide range of stakeholders
