Responsibilities:

ABOUT THE ROLE

A business-critical role with a global ASX-listed organisation currently exists in order to fill a key role in their commercial finance team. This Senior Commercial Finance Analyst position will be responsible for proactively supporting the commercial agenda within the local markets. As a trusted finance business
partner, this role will genuinely add-value and have a positive impact through the provision of quality decision support. Initially this will be a long-term 15 month fixed-term contract assignment, however there is the genuine opportunity for extension and/or permanency following this.

THE RESPONSIBILITIES

Reporting to the Commercial Manager, you will be responsible for providing expertise to the business with a focus on strategic planning, analysis and business partnering. More specifically, your role will include:

  • Financial modelling, scenario-modelling and business-case modelling
  • Support / lead management reporting and financial planning and analysis activities for the region
  • Act as a trusted finane business partner; providing guidance on business decisions and generating actionable commercial market insights
  • Supporting in the delivery of Decision Support, including ad-hoc analysis and insights
  • Supporting in the development of pricing and commercials for new commercial models or business lines
  • Supporting the wider leadership team to interpret financial data to track against financial objectives
  • Support the various sales teams with commercially-focused customer discussions
  • Internally, business partnering collaboratively across regional and group finance teams, supply chain, sales, commercial strategy, and marketing.
  • Ad-hoc requests as required, with a focus on process improvement
