As a Senior Commercial Finance Analyst, you will work closely with the Business Analysis Centre of Excellence (CoE) in Krakow on the timely production of insightful weekly and monthly trading performance reporting for Group Stakeholders, supplementing these with trading and net margin analysis.

What’s the job?:

• Ownership of the O&S monthly board pack.
• Produce regular reporting & insights as required, including range review reporting, quartiles reporting and Banner deep dives.
• Support the collation of data & narrative for quarterly, half yearly and annual results announcements.
• Lead the annual net margin reporting process liaising with Banners.
• Support the consolidation of Finance elements of O&S long term plan process such as range review ambition
• Collaborate with the wider finance community including FP&A and Sourcing Finance but particularly Category Finance Partners and Analysts driving a consistent way of working and championing agreed processes
• Work closely with the CTM (Common Trading Model) on data improvement projects and BI (Business Intelligence Teams) to ensure data robustness and timely provision.

What you’ll bring:

• Qualified accountant with proven commercial acumen, preferably gained in a Retail/FMCG environment.
• Data modelling and business analysis techniques, ability to model complex analysis to identify performance trends
• Advanced excel skills are needed as you’ll be manipulating large data sets. PowerBI preferred.
