Description:

Working in a fast-growing and innovative food manufacturing business, as Senior Commercial Manager your role will be pivotal in driving revenue growth and market success for a variety of brands. With a focus on innovation and customer-centric strategies, you will lead the development and execution of commercial plans, fostering strong relationships both internally and with customers. This role demands an entrepreneurial attitude, innovative thinking, and a commitment to delivering results.

The role

  • Drive revenue and profit growth through effective execution of brand
  • Foster relationships with customers and internal stakeholders at all
  • Understand customer business strategies and growth
  • Conduct in-depth market analysis to identify trends, consumer behaviour, and emerging opportunities. Provide insights to inform strategic decision-making.
  • Ensure innovation plans are landed
  • Align commercial strategies with brand marketing efforts, ensuring a cohesive and impactful market presence.
  • Support the SMT in defining budgets, targets and growth driven
  • Identify and execute business opportunities to increase brand visibility and
  • Negotiate cost price changes, range, distribution, shelf positioning, promotional activities etc. to build the brand within the customer portfolio.
  • Formulating customer specific plans/strategies in line with accountable budgets, costing, packaging and retail prices.
  • Management of Own Label contracts as appropriate, including securing new business, maintaining current business and managing the P&L in a commodity driven environment.
  • Create and maintain demand forecast at volume, value and profit level along with the demand planning team.
  • Collaborating with Supply Chain team to build effective customer service and fulfilment to each Retailer.
  • Monitor competitor activity and adjust forward plans to ensure brand growth.

About you
You must have extensive knowledge of managing corporate food brands at a senior level. And you will be experienced in of growing branded business in a high pace environment, with a demonstrable record of working to KPI’s and achieving targets. Being commercially astute through analysis and data interpretation, you will be able to inform the wider business with strategic decisions, which result in revenue growth and development of new business channels.
