EXPERIENCED SENIOR COMMERCIAL PROPERTY MANAGER POSITION
Our Property Developer client are currently looking to add an experienced Senior Commercial Property Manager to their team in Surrey! This role requires a minimum 4+ years of hands on commercial property management experience!

THE REQUIREMENTS
- 4+ years of commercial property management experience
- Experience with Commercial leasing and negotiating lease terms
- Experience forecasting budgets and strategizing cost effectiveness
- Experience with Yardi is an asset
Responsibilities:
ABOUT THE ROLE
You will be reporting to the VP of Property Management and will be managing a portfolio of commercial (office and retail), industrial and a few residential properties which will be mainly located in BC and some in the US. The office is based in Surrey and is a fully office based role. You will be required to travel to the US every 3-4 months which will be fully covered by the company. You will also be involved in Commercial leasing and need to have experience negotiating commercial lease terms and have hands on experience in Commercial leasing.
Your main job duties will include:
- Ensure a professional and proactive tenant relations program with prompt, courteous tenant service.
- Oversee and enhance building environments, tailoring maintenance and services for properties’ needs.
- Optimize operations to ensure efficient use of trades, suppliers, staff, and third-party managed properties.
- Manage the leasing cycle and leasing program, primarily for renewing tenancies.
- Responsible for reviewing and monitoring financial performance and developing annual operating and capital budgets, CAM reconciliations and monthly and quarterly reports.
- Recommend building projects, TI projects, maintenance initiatives, and administrative policies and procedures
