Our client is a full-service mid size law firm located in downtown Vancouver. We are seeking a highly experienced Senior Commercial Real Estate Paralegal to join their busy Real Estate practice. The ideal candidate will have 5+ years of experience in commercial real estate transactions and will be able to work independently with excellent attention to detail.

QUALIFICATIONS:

5+ years of experience as a paralegal in commercial real estate
Completed Paralegal or LAA Certificate considered an asset
Proficiency in MS Office and legal research tools
Strong organizational skills and ability to work independently
Excellent attention to detail and accuracy
Ability to prioritize and manage multiple tasks in a fast-paced environment
Professional demeanor and strong communication skills

Manage commercial real estate transactions from start to finish, including acquisitions, sales, financing, due diligence, and title matters
Manage sales of commercial properties including condominium developments, financing and re-financing transactions, and land development matters
Conduct legal research and prepare legal documents such as contracts, agreements, and closing documents
Communicate effectively with clients, lawyers, and external parties involved in transactions
Assist with the development of junior paralegals and legal assistants
