Join a growing Communications and Engagement team as the Senior Communications Adviser, reporting directly to the Senior Manager Communications and Engagement and partnering with all levels of the organisation including senior leadership. You will be responsible for supporting and implementing strategic communications strategies, building relationships with key stakeholders, and promoting awareness for the Portable Long Service Benefits Scheme with Workers and Employers.

ABOUT US

The Portable Long Service Authority (the Authority) is a self-funded statutory body established to administer the Long Service Benefits Portability Act 2018. The Act, together with the Long Service Benefits Portability Regulations 2020 provide a Portable Long Service Benefits Scheme. The Authority plays an important role in allowing workers in the community services, contract cleaning and security industries to build up long service benefits based on time in their industry rather than with a single employer. The Senior Communications Adviser, under the direction of the Senior Manager Communications and Engagement will contribute to the development and implementation of complex communications and engagement strategies and supporting stakeholder relationships. The Senior Adviser will also provide strategic communication advise to senior management and partner with internal stakeholders across the organisation. This is a brand-new position joining our growing Communications and Engagement team to promote the Authority and the benefits of the Portable Long Service Benefits Scheme across Victoria.
