We are seeking to add a Senior Communications Associate to our growing Communications team. You will be responsible for developing and implementing communication strategies that effectively convey Mark43’s vision and efforts to both agencies and the communities they serve. You will work closely with multiple departments and ensure that all communication efforts are aligned with our strategic plan.
The ideal candidate will have at least 5 years of experience working at a SaaS company, where they have created and managed content for social media platforms and spearheaded communications efforts to support company goals. The candidate will have a demonstrated history of writing press releases, talking points, opinion pieces, statements and other external communications. The ideal candidate will also have experience supporting company internal communications as they will support the Senior Director of Communications in these efforts.

Responsibilities:

  • Lead social media strategy across multiple platforms. Develop and track key social media metrics to drive and demonstrate impact.
  • Drive content strategy and author press releases, blog posts, executive thought leadership, partner and customer success stories, and more.
  • Drive partner press release approvals, and develop, edit and approve partner-related blog posts, partner communications, and more.
  • Provide strategic communications insight and written support to other team leaders, meeting with them regularly to drive alignment.
  • Support management of PR agency team, ensuring they deliver core objectives and strategically promote company goals.
  • Cultivate relationships with relevant media contacts to support proactive public relations efforts.
  • Measure and analyze press coverage to advise PR strategy and planning, reporting results back to stakeholders.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to develop effective communication plans around new product features and launches, partnership announcements, and more.
  • Support the development of internal communications materials such as employee newsletters, memos, etc. Develop presentations for internal and external audiences.
  • Stay up-to-date with relevant news coverage.
